More Work in Progress

Alright, same deal.
Head.
This time though I'm going to give it straight hair. Flowing, maybe it'll go down to the base. Also, I might attempt to put some sort of clothing. Like a low cut ruffly collar thingy. Should be good.

I feel it's done for now. I have to wait till it dries some more so i can go back and carve into it.

So, here is the newest piece.

It's still kinda rough, and the head looks a little awkward, but i think it's getting there.

 

I wasn't entirely sure what I wanted to do with it, but I knew I wanted a dramatic gesture.

Rosemary

New pictures of sculpture.

So I've been working on this for the last couple of weeks. On and off. And on again.
I think it's working out rather nicely considering i had no model or picture reference.
Oh and Rosemary is a great herb.

Relief

Image needs work, but...
here it is, finally.
It needs final touches , but i think it's pretty alright.

So, life is good... kinda.

But yes, I have been working on the relief for a while now. It took me longer than i thought it was, but now it is cast in porcelain. It needs to be polished off for better presentation. I will post pictures soon.
Also, I have been working on a figure sculpture. The first one since I got home from school, so I'm very excited about it. So far I've been working on proportions and all. It's being based off of another sculpture from years past. It's somewhat difficult to find a model around here, so i had to improvise. Anyway, I will post pictures of the work in progress soon.
